The Only 4 Exercises You Really Need

Four simple, effective exercises are all you need for fat burning and all over body toning. These moves use bodyweight for resistance and they are simple and convenient but still challenging.


Begin with your hands on the floor directly underneath your shoulders and keep your body in a straight line. Bend your elbows out to the sides and lower yourself towards the floor.  Keep your body in line, hold for a second and push up again.


Keep your body upright with your feet hip-width apart, place your weight into your heels and bend your knees, lowering yourself as if you are sitting in a chair.  Stop when your knees are at 90 degrees. Push back up into your starting position.


Sit on the edge of a chair and place your hands behind your hips. Slide your bottom just off the front of the chair and walk your feet forward. Make sure your hands are secure so you don’t slip. Your upper body will be straight with your head centered between your shoulders. Slowly bend your elbows, lowering your body downwards until your upper arms are parallel to the floor. Push back up again.


With this exercise, your body stays in one position. Plant your hands under your shoulders as though you’re going to do a pushup. Ground your toes into the floor and squeeze your glutes. Don’t lock your knees. Look at a spot on the floor at about a foot beyond your hands, making sure your head is in line with your back.  Hold for 20 seconds.
